Bring It On!!! (Challangers Welcome) ((Round 15))

This is more of a league then a tournament.
How it works: You must be premium.
Step 1
All maps have a champion. If you want a map you must declare a challenge for it.
You need to post these in the topic, I'll ignore PMs related to this.
Anyone can challenge even if they haven't been playing before!
Step 2
You play 3 1v1 games on the map where all settings are of the champion's choosing (the champion can be crafty and not have the same settings in all 3 games). Speed is the only thing not allowed.
You will be notified of game numbers and passwords via pm.
Notes
When you challenge, or shortly after you win, it helps if you tell me what you want your new settings to be or they stay what the last champion had.
If a map is still being challenged over multiple rounds it can not receive a new challenge until sometime during the round it ends in.
You can challenge and be challenged at the same time, you can only challenge once a round though.
You can be challenged on the same map multiple times a round if you win quickly enough and I update fast enough.
Standings
Every time you defend a map your (#) grows. The top 10 numbers are in the winners hall of fame and in the event of a tie the date of ownership takes precedence.
Every round you own a map the # grows by 1
Every time you receive a valid challenge your # grows by 1
Every time you win a challenge the # grows by 2
You lose a point for every round the game is being intentionally prolonged. I will be the judge of this.
Your first win just gains you the map, no points.
Even if you lose a map you stay in the winners hall of fame (top 10) as long as your number is not surpassed. You can have multiple entries through multiple maps.
The owners hall of fame is the top 10 players by titles. Meaning the more maps you are the champion of the higher you are in that one. This one is dynamic, meaning if you lose maps you don't hang around tell someone beats your highest number owned.
Every 8 to 10 rounds the Hall of Fames are saved and the tournament hall of fame updated. This isn't a reset. You still keep everything and keep playing.
Final Notes: (Quiting)
You can forfeit instead of playing if you want out when you are challenged. This is preferable to dead-beating and will not reflect negatively on you in any way. You won't get your points though. (benjikat had to do this)
Final Notes (Turns)
Rounds will be evaluated at midnight CST every Tuesday and Friday, at which time points will be adjusted. After that a post may be made in the topic asking for the moves for the round and everyone can choose their challenge again.
You can post a bunch of actions to queue up in one post if you want, but your opponents will be able to see this and mess with you so I recommend against it. (I think only Godd has ever queued an action)
If you miss a round that's too bad for you. You won't be able to make it up, so if you know you'll be gone for a while it may be a good idea to queue some actions up and instruct your sitter to join your games for you.
Final Notes (New Maps)
As long as the Map Foundry is running new maps will be added to the site. A round or two prior to release of a new map
(having inside information helps this) I will post a sign up for a big match over it.
There will usually be room for 16 players to sign up unless the map doesn't allow for it.
Signing up does not take up your challenge spot.
So what you need to do and know if you see a sign up...
1) Sign up by posting the following information:
Name of the Map (required)
Preferred Settings (required)
Preferred Group (optional, if you don't tell me you are placed arbitrarily)
2) Matches start either during the indicated round or when they appear on the site if it takes longer then that.
3) After both matches finish the winners of each will face off in typical challenge format. The 'champion' is the person who won in the least number of rounds and the settings they gave at sign up are used for the 3 games.

Finally someone picked freestyle, lol. I think you are just trying to go for an easy 0.5 every turn, I doubt many will challenge you on crossword freestyle.

I must be honest and admit that I picked freestyle due to the 0.5 fact

Not sure what you mean? If someone else says they are the champion of crossword then you have to play the 3 games or forfeit.
You still get an action every day even if you are being challenged. So every day you can pick a map or challenge someone.
It is possible to be in several challenges at a time, but only one per map.
Hope that answers everything you may have been asking about.

I can only post one champion or one challenge per day but could be challenged more then once per day depending how many champions I have.

Correct. Also challenges may last more than one day so you could have multiple challenges going.
A map (and I) can only handle one set of 3 battles at a time though.

So just to be sure...can I own multiple maps at once?
and also what happens if say someone challenges me one day, and the next day, while challenge 1 is still going on, someone else challenges me. Then I lose my first chalenge, then I lose my second challenge. Since I lost my second challenge second does that person win nothing? Does he take the map even though i no longer own it?

After I update standings you are free to try to take another map. Only once a day. The post that is updating the standing will be very obvious and flashy.
One of the leaderboards is about how many maps are held onto.
Let's make up some players for you. Jerkoff and Reject.
Jerkoff challanges you for Doodle Earth tomorrow.
The next day that game is still going and Reject tries to.
I promptly call Reject a dumb git and tell him Doodle Earth is still being challenged by Jerkoff and that he needs to redecide his turn.
You eventually lose to Jerkoff. At that point Reject can challenge Jerkoff for it or if he isn't fast enough you can challenge Jerkoff back for it if you haven't used that turn for something else.
So in short, only one challenge per map can be happening at a time.
