Concise Idea: Have a button or something in a thread to bump it instead of posting.

Specifics: Just how it sounds
Why it is needed: So people don't post meaningless crap when bumping a thread..

Unfortunately I would think there would be a bunch of meaningless thread bumps.

This is also a forum software issue, which we don't deal with.
