Missing 2 Turns

Why do the moderators say it is trivial to miss 2 turns? In a speed game that is a waste of 10 minutes. Who here thinks that missing 2 turns is a valid reason for negative feedback?

I think it's a bullshit method of getting a larger deployment than your opponents, regardless of if you get them before or after your attacks.
CC should consider changing this rule to give NADA for missed turns.
If your baseball team stayed off the field for 2 innings would you be awarded with points???? NO, you'd forfeit the fricking game.
Only losers who have NO true ability to strategize use this BS tactic!

Not again! This has been discussed to death. The long and short of it is that, for most people who miss turns, life happens and they can't reach a computer once in a while. It shouldn't make a difference to your gameplan anyway

but is that the case in speed games? possibly in a speed game as you have commited effectively not to leave your computer maybe you should only ever recieve armies for one missed turn even if you missed two. i think missing two in long games is fine as life happens, but how often does it happen for 2 turns (10 minutes) once you have comitted to a speed game?

No its not.Negative feedbacks should be given to rude people who take the game to serious.
Its really hard to leave a negative though..With the CC Feedback Police on ya back removing what has taken time to write.

I've had perfectly reasonable feedbacks deleted. The feedback system is a joke because we can only leave negatives for people who miss 3 or more turns. Just means more use of the ignore list and segregation of the Conquerclub community.

i play with black and yellow CC players all the time.
there is no segregation here.
except on the bus map....

missing turns in a speed game is unforgivable in most situations. when you join a speed game expect to be there through the end.
In casual games I could care less, though it is frustrating

Ten minutes is pretty trivial. Think about it.

Very, very, true. What if you had to step out quickly?
Deadbeating in standard games is the only time I ever leave feedback (3 days? Come on!) and that's only when they really piss me off.

Are you f'ing kidding me? They just deleted a NEUTRAL feedback that I gave for someone missing two turns. That's it; he makes it onto my ignore list then.

The ignore list is unfair and should be deleted.

10 minutes is trivial Wicked, but a speed game is supposed to be RT, and if you're in a 4+ speed game and 2 players are missing turns intentionally to get the deferred armies (and yes, this happens quite often) that 10 minutes adds up. Granted it is not as fustrating as people missing turns or waiting till the last hour in casual games (I've had 1 game going for 14 days now with no missed turns, it just seems that everyone is waiting 23 hours before making a play... talk about fustration!)
The point of this though is the deferred armies, not the amount of time. Sure, on some maps where you can easily reach an opponent like Doodle Earth or Classic, where missing 1 turn usually means losing 3+ territories, but what about games like Feudal War and AoR: Might/Magic where 2+ turns can go by without ever encountering someone? I've had many players in Feudal (my mainly played map) skip turns and suddenly on their 3rd turn they hit "begin turn" button before 3 seconds have passed to deploy a bulk of deferred armies on their borders. To answer the question of the topic, I find it unfair, it's a low handed trick and yes they get a neg feedback from me for it most times.

I agree with you 100% , about deferred or and other armies being given! I frankly don't care how beat to death it is. There should be no reward given for missing a turn period. Life happens... well then you lose the game. Its not our D%&@ fault.
