The earth is cooling down because theres "heater" of the earth in the atlantic ocean. When the Ice Age began, it was because the "heater" stopped. Then after it began again and life turned back to normal. But now it seems to be slowing down again making the world cooler. If you look at the Earths barrier, it is getting weaker by the minute. your new studies are only out because they're trying not to scare people. If people got scared, then countries like the U.S. ( no offense ) would have to stop using so much of the earths natural resources making companies go out of buisness.

I'd give the world (universe) another 20000000000 years at least. If you're only talking about the earth, though... I think they sun's going to swallow it in a few million.

If heating causes cooling, shouldn't that cooling cause more heating? If so, then why do you suppose they call it 'cooling'?

I'm going to try that with a frozen dinner. If I pop it in the microwave, the food will experience "global warming". As the frozen gravy warms, it'll melt, spreading cooler gravy over the meat, resulting in cooler meat... no WONDER my microwave doesn't work! I'm heating frozen things, resulting in cooler food! You people are GENIUS!

Come to think of it Mandy, that did work once when I went to Colorado on vacation once for 2 weeks... Left like 20 pounds of meat in the freezer, and when I got back, not only was it all at room temperature, but there were maggots eating it too!

of course that had nothing to do with the power outage we had 3 days after we left...

2012 is the stupidest thing i've heard, just like the prediction of 2000 to be the last day. The world isn't going to spin of it's axis, and if such a thing could happen, we wouldn't die, we would just have to live with monsterous earthquakes that happen extremly frequently.
