Conquer Club

It’s time to make our (amazzony’s and simor’s) dream come true and have a doubles freestyle tournament. This is the game style that we enjoy and enough is enough. If nobody wants to run it for us then we must do it ourselves

Settings
4-player, Doubles, Freestyle, Sunny
Map, Cards and Fortifications are individual for each team.

Setup
Simple Single Elimination Bracket (check 3rd post), with one exception!
As it’s clear that whichever team joins second, has an advantage, and therefore 2 games will be played at once (per round) so both teams can join 2nd. And to advance, you must win both of those games. If neither of the teams gets 2 wins, then again, 2 games will be played. And that process will continue until 1 team wins both games. It might take a bit time but it’s the most fair way to balance things.
Home team will join the game second.
Bracket will be put together according to teams' points on sign up.

I had a question on this. So, each team chooses some settings - will that be like their 'home' map and the team who's 'home' map would join first or second?

To make the home settings totally home (aka beneficial to the team who picks them) then you'll be joining your opponents map first. At least I imagine it like that
