Not always that easy, I was looking for the title of a song a few days ago and even though I remembered several lines I didn't get any useful results from google.radiojake wrote:or they could google the lyrics themselves and get the answer in about 35 seconds (depending on connection speed)
The words for Song 2 are easy, just go "Wooooooooohooooooooooo!" and a lot of people will be able to tell you which song it is.The1exile wrote:I'd known the guitar riff from Blur's Song 2 but only found out the name of the song in physics lesson a few weeks ago. Couldn't remember the words for the life of me.
there's also one I heard the other day - "We've known each other for so long", I think.
The problem is, lots of people couldn't. You'd say "do you know that song with the guitar? goes 'woohoo!' in it" and they'd say "damn, I know the one you mean, it's pretty good, but I don't know what it's called".MeDeFe wrote:The words for Song 2 are easy, just go "Wooooooooohooooooooooo!" and a lot of people will be able to tell you which song it is.
or say goodbye?MeDeFe wrote:Oh and: "Never gonna make you cry"
What the hell were you doing listening to Blur in physics? If it makes you feel any better, it took me about six months after first hearing the song to find out who it was by.The1exile wrote:I'd known the guitar riff from Blur's Song 2 but only found out the name of the song in physics lesson a few weeks ago. Lol Glycerine, perhaps? That's what the riff sounds like to me.InkL0sed wrote:Back in the days when I used to listen to the radio, there was this song that would play on K-Rock that I liked a lot. The problem is I don't remember the lyrics, I don't know who sang it, and I don't remember the name of it. I'm not even sure I would recognize it anymore.
My only clues:
- 3:44 to 3:48 in this video sound like it. "Everything Zen" generally is too hard for the song, but those few seconds have always made me think of it.
I think Gavin DeGraw is probably the singer. If not, he sounds like him.
Yes, I love you too, hahahaha! Haha!hahaha3hahaha wrote:Ahhh, I feel so satisfied, a happy used of my threadInkL0sed wrote:I'm listening to it right now...

I was going to let that one slide. That was the one thing that made me not quite sure about my suggestion, but I figured it was maybe a time distortion type of deal.spurgistan wrote:Just to be a prick, again, and again, but it's Gavin Rossdale, not Gavin DeGraw.
Eh... I never exactly was a fan of Bush. I guess I remembered the wrong name.spurgistan wrote:Just to be a prick, again, and again, but it's Gavin Rossdale, not Gavin DeGraw.
