Why drill in America? We just buy it from everybody else until all of theirs is gone and then drill here...we'll be the only ones with oil!

Why drill in America? Because it makes people money.bedub1 wrote:Why drill in America? We just buy it from everybody else until all of theirs is gone and then drill here...we'll be the only ones with oil!
By that time I'm sure mankind will have switched to something else. I've often wondered about the future and what modes of transportation will look like then.bedub1 wrote:Why drill in America? In the grand scheme of things, we don't have that much oil in the U.S. Also, for money.bedub1 wrote:Why drill in America? We just buy it from everybody else until all of theirs is gone and then drill here...we'll be the only ones with oil!
Whatever it is it won't be motorized or require power, because there won't be any - not affordable to the mass public anywayTheLucas wrote:By that time I'm sure mankind will have switched to something else. People fail to realize that the invention of the automobile was the "greenest" thing to hit the nation in that era. Polution was a major problem in urban areas. Greenhouse gasses have nothing (even ozone smog) compared to the tons of manure falling onto city streets and flowing down city drainage systems. It was a nightmare in more ways than one. While I love horses, I don't want to reutrn to the age of manure on the streets.
Imagine the traffic jams! (or the mess left afterwards.)tzor wrote:muy_thaiguy wrote:Could always go back to horses. No, a billion times No.
