How can you put "don't read if you have epilepsy" in the thread title, yet wonder if the avatar would be OK? Seems to me that you already know the answer to your question, yet you posted it on the forum anyway.

No, I don't have epilepsy either but it's just plain annoying. It's like one of those annoying adverts on some websites which constantly draw your attention away from what the page is actually about. Avatars are meant to be discreet.
