Do you think it tastes good? I just finished my mom's birthday card and this flavor was exceptional.

I used to have to lick a girlfriend's envelopes in case they had any animal products in them

...that sounds way ruder than it is, and way more interesting.

Its an interesting taste, not good, not bad.
I think they just make it taste sweet to help you get over the fact that you are licking a strip of glue....

Actually, I'm brand loyal based on greeting card envelope glue. I know the ones that have sugar added. They tend to be rather humorous as well.

I once worked at a place where they had employed a young girl straight from college to handle marketing.
She had built up a database of 600 companies and was then to organize a mail shot.
She sat at her desk licking 100's of envelopes. After lunch she was complaining that the envelopes were of poor quality and they didn't stick very well. Thats when we discovered that they were those self seal envelopes with two bits of sticky that glue themselves together.

Proof that further education can't teach you common sense.

And don't those envelopes always have little tabs over the sticky parts that say "Pull Off - Adhesive underneath" or something?

Well, the ones I used to use (from a company called Viking, if I recall aright) didn't, so I guess that just goes to show that your envelopes aren't representative enough ;-)

Just goes to show you were using some crap off-brand...

All hail 3M office supplies! ;)
