Kamchatka

here's a couple maps
this one is based on administrative divisions

this one is based on native peoples (looks like the continents have been made for you).

the region itself doesn't seem spectacular as it looks like it might just be Indochina 2 and it seems like another 28-32 territory map which we've had a lot of lately. maybe someone can figure out something though.

sorry but if I was developing it, I would've posted it in the drafts area and created a draft before posting. I do hope someone develops it though.

That's what I mean...I hope someone develops it! And I look forward to that if/when it happens
There are plenty of skilled mapmakers about, maybe someone wants to take it up as a project!

Hmmmm.... the more I think about it, the more I think it could work. I could get 16 territories fairly easily... I'm not sure where any more would come from... Would a 16-territory map work?

no. It'd be a waste of the area. What's the point of making a map of the area with a BS game ala Doodle Earth?
And, what mibi did was exactly what went through my head as I was looking at Kamchatka.
The best bet would be to take the 2nd map I posted and make a map out of that. The different native tribes make up different continents. Territories can then just be freely made for gameplay reasons. I think you could fit 30 territories quite easily.
