have been permabanned. f*ck.
I'll fill this space here with what I know, as soon as I return from class. Apparently they're all supposedly eachother's multi or something stupid like that, but there's more to tell.
EDIT: I won't be explaining here because [

ditocoaf@gmail.com if you want my suspicions.
In any case, "Free Mustard" and all that. Except that phrase is too over-meme'd. Seriously... this is offensive.

Yep. They're all banned too. f*ck. I knew this whole thing was bad news. Hardly against the rules, though... Well, I'll go to class now, but when I get back I suppose I'll add an explanation in the OP... the public has a right to know!
Aslo,
hi DM!
EDIT: this just in--apparently DM has been accused of being a multi with Skittles! Back to you, whoever.

Fucking hell.
He was one of the best writers here.
What did they do? Was it hilarious? Please at least let it have been hilarious or epically dramatic.
Since people tend to remember the last offense that leads to the permaban, when canonizing the dearly departed, I really hope it wasn't something sad and quiet, like Heath Ledger's passing. It'd be far better to go out like Budd Dwyer.
That whole burn out rather than fade away thing...
Snorri, Skittles and Simon Viviant were all cool too.
This is a sad day. A sad day indeed. Here's to hoping they left a good story to tell, anyway.

It was epic. Probably the mostest epicer thing ever in the history of Conquer Club. f*ck Norse. This is Legend.

Unfortunately, I must join Dito in RL obligations. Perhaps someone else shall. If not, I will when I get back.

Yeah, I had changed that sentence from what I had originally written, before posting the first time, and forgot to remove the apostrophe. Shit happens.

Based on the info here it sounds like it was a marvellous idea that showed up BES and his ilk for the pompous morons they are.
Also, without knowing anything else about this and probably being out of line:
Who the f*ck went crying to the mods? You whinging coward - you know the "no multi" rule is there to stop people stealing points, not to stop you being made to look foolish. If true, it is one of the most pathetic and despicable acts that could be perpetrated by a user of these forums - using anti-cheating rules to get non-cheats you don't like banned. Wanker.

lol one last comment, BES was pretty much nonchalant and unimpressed by the whole ordeal, I imagine he didn't have anything to do with it.

So was this all in the civil discussion forum or something?
And yeah, I'd be surprised if BES was behind this, he seems the type to just dish it back.

Seems I've got a few minutes. The word on the grapevine is that there was an infiltration of the group. But let's keep this under control guys. We need information. We need patience. Going around acting our usual irritating selves isn't going to help anyone. We need to work with the mods here to try to achieve some sort of fairness in punishment here. A permaban is not fair, though one could, under the circumstances, be pretty expectant of some sort of punishment.

well like i said, i don't know what happened, except that once again some top-drawer posters have been banned. Ihaven't accused anyone of anything - except some impotent rage at whoever went crying to the moderators to secure spurious bans. Which, unless you believe someone is actually cheating, sucks massive tadgers.
Anyway, how are we supposed to fling baseless accusations around if we have the actual facts?

Oh the suspense!
The only thing capable of relieving it is running roughshod over logic and appeals to patience by throwing around rumor based accusations!

I have no idea what punishment is appropriate, if any.
I have no idea what happened.
Where did it (whatever "it" is) happen?
