Can we have the option of turning off medals on the forum page? Or a theme that is designed for actually reading a thread? I find the current prosilver port to be lacking.

I don't use these forums much, I admit. I have a small screen, and I spend more time trying to find the discussion than anything else, and it's just not worth it. I expect there are others in similar situations.

Exhibit A: A screenie of the forum while logged out:


There's so much garbage on the screen, and two lines of actual content (I'm not here to judge the value of the content).

So, I shut off avatars and signatures. While this helps to save bandwidth (which isn't the issue), it does very little save space. Exhibit B:


Turning off the medals would help. Or making them smaller. Or adding a lightweight theme. For your consideration. Thanks.

Under the medals there is a collapse button. Use this to not show medals on the forum page.

I think that may be an addition that Bob gives.

It's a bob function

that only closes the medals for that one post... and if you leave the screen, they come right back

so only BOB users have it...

i dont have BOB because i prefer doing the thinking myself so i dont cant close the medals
