Providing Randomness

This might interest in some way the folks that encounter all too often the feared "bad rolls" :ugeek:

Any thoughts on how the rolls are provided here at cc??

If you have ever watched the Flintstones it sorta works like that...some random bird or animal is usually found running on a treadmill that flips some switch or trip button that produce the desired result such as a dice roll.

I thought they just used the RAND() function, with the random seed being equal to the numbr of multis created in the past hour :roll:
