I have had a horrible week, but just when you think things couldn't get any worse...THEY...evened out. They always even out...

Here is what happened. I was weak, very weak. Out of the four players i went last. Green had around 40 men to kill my 25 or so. What happened? he killed killed killed and when he was left with a 4v1 at then end to take my cards and probably win the game...that little 1 army defeats him!!! Oh man were they bewildered, surely green was going to win, no doubt. But i was still dead. Blue went next and all he had to do was break through greens 3 men and kill me to take my cards and win. So he killed and killed and was left with a 3v1, and do you know what happened? BOOM victory by the little 1 army AGAIN!!!! For the second straight time the little army in Eastern Aussi defeats the hordes. But i was surely dead now, NO DOUBT. Yellow had nearly 30 men to break through blue's 1's from iceland to me, to take my cards...and defeat me. So...yellow started, killed killed killed. He was left with a 10v1! And...do you know what happened? That little army... that single army that already defeated two previous players' attempts, WON! For the third time in a row, the little army that could deafeted the attackers but this wasn't a 4v1 or 3v1 from before, it was a 10v1!!!

Forever this will be known as a great campfire story or a story to tell your armies on the battlefield.

pft... 66 in ten million chance, not that impressive.

Nice to see someone is doing great with the dice.

I quite liked the story myself. I tend to find myself on the other side of it (rolling against a 1 9 times while simultaneously beating my head against the desk and wailing) but enjoyed picturing for a second that it was my defensive dice doing so well.

Well its true, today i lost 5 straight. Not a good WEEk at all (thanks for pointing it out) And i only made one other GD post this week and that was a depressing topic, this one is more optimistic.

I calculate the odds of a 1 surviving attack of 10 at 1/26,000. When also beating a 3 its 1/104,000. And then beating a 4v1, it's 1/1,040,000. (using probability and risk "bartell" battle odds calculator.

I have seen better 1's XD. I lost a esc game one time because of the fact losing

After that i was really screwed and lost the game. Was a difference of around 100 points between winning and losing.

thats crazy, but it wouldn't make for a good story : P Its to instantaneous, but still unbelievable.
