Can't say that it's huge but it's quite big. A year or more ago it could of been called huge because at some point somebody who tried 100-200 player tournament seemed to be nuts because there weren't mass messaging, some other cool things + there was a lot less people hanging in these forums. Right now it's quite easily doable if you have time and you know what you are up to. And the number of people isn't always important. You can have a 500 player tournament with 50 games and last for a few months or you can have a 200 player tournament with 400 games that lasts for a year - in my eyes they are equal. Even though getting 500 players is a huge job then keeping a tournament running for a long time is as much job, if not more.

Rant ended, I actually wanted to say that even though the thread you made is pointless then your tournament is nicely made and you've put some thinking in it. I mentioned a few things in the thread that I found as "mistakes", I guess you can make your own conclusion. If you do decide to keep it freestyle and succeed then I think you'll be the maker of biggest freestyle tournament.
