Conquer Club

Very familiar with the board game, pretty new to the online game.
I have joined a team game, and my basic stupid question that I can not find an anwer to in the rules is does one member of the team need to hold a continent to get extra armies, or do you still get armies if your combined teammates hold a continent (ie multiple players from a same team hold all the territories of one continent).
If the latter, how are armies attributed?

one player has to hold the whole bonus, if you are both in, you have to kill your teammate for the bonus (or vice versa)

You or your teamate can fort armies to each other on a shared continent to make it easier to gain control of that bonus. Likewise you can both deploy armies on each others territories (where you need them most) once you secure extra bonuses.
