Umm...I thought those guys at the other thread deny wanting to be the longest thread. that it "wasn't their intention".

I can more or less agree with this thread.

If nothing else, I would say that these two threads are distinct from each other. Similar in many ways definitely but with their own identities and I would think that those from both threads would mostly disagree with merging them. I could be wrong, but I definitely know that I would not want to see them merged.

It isn't out intention, but what the longest thread thread is now isn't simply being or becoming the longest thread. It's something different, something more. If it wasn't, you guys would just be sitting there making post of after post that meant nothing, such as "2308944u890sdafkljasd;lfkja".
