you should not be disrespectful of this woman. She was protesting her corrupt government, one that has suppressed women for a long time, and one that has robbed its people of their election. You look like a complete ass to mock her in this way. I just saw it, and it was horrific. My prayers go to her family and her people in this difficult time.

Anyway, for seriousness, this woman is now going to be the casus belli for this protest. It's pretty fucking horrible that she got shot and the videos of it are going to spread through Iran like a virus.

They are calling the women like Neda in Iran "Lion Women" for their courage.

Watching that video wasn't as horrifying as 3Guys1Hammer, but it was still an image you'll never forget, and never want to see.

You can actually see the moment when her life leaves her. Horrifying. It seemed like she was in shock from being hit, but just as she began to register the pain, she realized she was dying, and then her face was gripped in a look of terror until she expired.

I deeply respect this girl and the cause she involuntarily and innocently lost her life for.
At first I was amazed, proud and grateful to find this thread on conquerclub, but as I read the progression of the comments I am saddened by how we always manage to make it about ourselves.
It would mean so much if we could please make this a safe haven where people can come together with respect and remember Neda. Thank you.

Ahh, is English you second language -- most of these comments are respectful and those that aren't don't fly far.

Indeed, I watched the video of Neda's death as well. It truly was horrifying, and I can see her being praised as the Goddess of Democracy in Iran pretty soon.

According to the sources I have, she was actually not directly involved in the protest, she was a bystander who was near a protest and then was hit by a sniper bullet. However, I suspect the real truth has already been distorted by most sides to the point that we may never know what really happened.

She will be a symbol.
