Hi,

I started a rough rough draft of this : http://chipv.freehostia.com/maps.php

It has numerous bugs and is in first stages but I have stopped before continuing to see if people

a) Think this is worth progressing
b) Have any ideas that would make it worth progressing

To install just click where it says.

It's really an excercise in exploring the API (so a lot of fun for me) but if we can come up with useful ideas then let's go with it.

Not much at the moment, just zooms in on the place of the map if applicable and shows where mapmakers come from.
Original intention was to provide more info per map and a selector for starting games, something like that, but it is pretty useless right now.

it is cool. but i dont know how applicable it is... first map i clicked on was aor2.

LOL. OK well try one that has a real geographic place to zoom to, or try Space or Solar System for a bonus.

ha ha, nice. definitely fun for a bit chipv, and it works well. the time control at the top of the google-earth box does make me think about how cool it would be to have an application that chronicles scoreboard history... i usually use the way back machine for that tho...

Yeah, definitely some bugs in there:

You should make it Safari compatible.

Also, might I suggest making the whole thing fit on one page if possible, without having to scroll.(In GChrome)
