Clickable Maps

To those who have mastered the art of clicking maps, those who complete 5 second turns (or less!), those who confuse competitors after they hit refresh only to see the map the complete opposite of what it once was...
Teach me your ways!
What little techniques do you use for that added speed?

I already have CM, and have had it for a while...I Just want to know what little things some people do to be just that much faster...
Do you continually click on the territory you want to conquer until you actually conquer it, or do you just click once and wait until it advances.
PS - I have high speed internet and a high speed computer, so neither of those aren't the problem. I just want to know techniques!

Disable all confirmations, take off all other plug-ins (though only BOB slows it down to my knowledge), then just click on the tert while holding alt and shift (the former being auto-advance and the latter auto-assault). I just click that one tert a lot until it has been registered then move on to the next while it is advancing. Rise and repeat.

Why do I have to hold in shift? I have been holding in Alt and right-clicking and that does the job. And I have the confirmations turned off and everything...I just want to know what little tricks people have to be even faster...
