Most people have probably heard of Pandora by now. If not, it's where you put in a song or artist, and it spits out other music you'll like.
Pandora also has a "Why was this song selected" button. Sometimes it gives amusing reasons.
Today I've gotten a few.
"We’re playing this track because it features west coast rap influences, folk influences, rock influences, and a knack for catchy hooks and danceable beats. (Not to mention I live on the west coast)"
"...dub influences" - what influences?
"...headnodic beats" -is that a word? Guess it is now.
From urbandictionary:
headnodic
adj: a beat or rhythm that is hypnotic to the point of making your head nod. Believed to be pioneered, but not created by, Pandora radio as an attribute of music, specifically in hip-hop, hip-hop instrumentals and trip-hop genres.
Anyone else have Pandora tell you some odd things?
