Introduction
Hello and Welcome to the Objective Game Tournament!

Currently, Conquer Club has only three conditions for winning, and most boil down to kill or be killed! In war, however, there are often many other objectives that are often more important than annihilation of your opponents. This tournament offers the savvy player a chance to work out different ways to accomplish important game tasks. Many of these games offer strategies that are completely new to CC play, and occasionally completely different from what you may be used to. The champion will have to think on his or her feet and adjust strategies frequently.

If you think you have what it takes, read on for the basic information! The games are explained in detail below, and if you want to prove that you are a unique talent amongst CC, sign up!

In this tournament you will participate in objective type games in a league format. Points will be awarded as each game finishes, and at the end of it at, the player with the most points will be crowned champion!

I am looking for 40 players for this tournament.

There will be 11 total games, I will be starting a new game each week. Therefore, Freemiums will unfortunately likely be precluded from this tournament.

All maps and setting are chosen by me and described further below. All games are Sequential.

Game Types and Official Rules

Round 1: Capital
Map: Feudal War

Reinforcements: Chained

In the Capital game, each players starting city will be considered their "Capital." The first player to take over this Capital will earn 4 points. Subsequent captures of the capital will not earn points.

Round 2: Eliminator
Map: Great Lakes
Cards: Flat Rate
Reinforcements: Chained
Sunny
Players: 8

In the eliminator game, 2 points are awarded for eliminating another player.

Round 3: Survival
Map: Australia
Cards: Flat Rate
Reinforcements: Chained
Sunny
Players: 5
In the Survival Game, you earn 3 points for each person eliminated before you. First person eliminated earns 0 points.

Round 4: Proliferation
Map: Oasis
Cards: None
Reinforcements: Adjacent
Foggy
Players: 8
In proliferation, your peak number of territories during the game will determine your rank.

Round 5: Influence
Map: Forbidden City
Cards: Flat Rate
Reinforcements: Adjacent

Influence awards points for your peak percentage of territories owned during the game in the following manner.
<12.5% = 0
<25% = 1
< 37.5% = 2
< 50 % = 3
< 62.5% = 4
< 75% = 5
< 100% = 6
100% = 8

This game ends 5 rounds after the 6th player is eliminated.

Round 6: Diplomacy
Map: Madagascar
Cards: None
Reinforcements: Chained

In Diplomacy, each player will be assigned a target by me prior to the game. This target will be a secret. If you eliminate your target, you are awarded 10 points. If you kill another players target, you lose 2 points.
Therefore, it might be useful to keep a strong player from eliminating their target. Who, however, will be willing to sacrifice two of their own points to do so? How will you even know if they are telling the truth?

This game will be capped at 20 rounds.

Round 7: Conscription
Map: The Citadel
Cards: Flat Rate
Reinforcements: Unlimited

Reinforcements have arrived! Rankings will be determined by the number of bonus troops obtained by turning in cards, increasing in points as ranks go up. You must turn in at least one set to earn any points for this round.

Round 8: Supply
Map: Pearl Harbor
Cards: None
Reinforcements: Unlimited

Players: 8
In Supply, the rankings will be determined by the peak troop bonus received during the game.

Round 9: Opportunity
Map: Classic
Cards: Flat Rate
Reinforcements: Chained
Sunny
Players: 8
Opportunity awards points based on the number of bonus cards played during the game. You must play at least one card to earn points. Amount of troops received does not matter. Cards held when eliminated or at the end of the game do not count.

Round 10: Assassin
Map: Senate
Cards: Flat Rate
Reinforcements: Chained
Sunny
Players: 8
This will be a regular CC assassin game. 6 points to the winner.

Round 11: Discipline
Map: 8 Thoughts
Cards: Escalating
Reinforcements: Adjacent
Foggy
Players: 8
The most disciplined player will have the best chance of success at this Foggy Assassin game. 6 points to the winner.
Additional Rules
Additional Rules:

ALL CC RULES APPLY.
Please understand that this includes the secret alliance and kibitz rules. All diplomacy must occur in game chat. If you are unclear of the rules, let me know and I will assist you prior to the tournament starting. Once the tournament has started, there will be a zero tolerance policy, including reporting all violators in the cheating and abuse forum.

Rank:
If the game rules state that points will be awarded by rank, this means
1st: 8 points
2nd: 6 points
3rd: 5 points
4th: 4 points
5th: 3 points
6th: 2 points
7th: 1 point
8th: 0 points
If you did not meet the requirements to earn points for that game type, but finished in 7th or higher, you forfeit those points. No other player may claim those points.

Scoring:
I believe that all games can be scored by reading the game log. Please report games as they finish so that I may do so in a timely manner.

Round Caps:
Round caps are implemented in some games to prevent abuse, and in other games simply to keep a possibly long game from holding up the tournament.

CC Points:
This tournament does not follow the typical manner for awarding points. In some games, the objectives may be met before the game concludes. In this case, the tournament game is considered over, however all players will, of course, have to finish the game. When possible, I will create the games as Terminator games to allow players the most opportunity to maintain their CC points.

Awards:
I will be handing out special awards to top performers across the tournament. These will be worth .5 bonus points in the standings table.

Game Assignments:
I will randomly assign players to each game. The groups will not be same throughout the tournament. (Obviously, games are 4, 5, and 8 players.)

Deadbeats:
Deadbeats will be removed and replaced by Reserves. If a player deadbeats during a game, the game will conclude as normal, unless the game is Diplomacy, Assassin, or Discipline. These games will be restarted with the reserve.

Joining Games:
Please join in a timely manner. I generally send out the games, and check the next day to see who is missing. If I find you are missing, I will send a 24 hour warning, then you will be replaced with a reserve.

Changes:
I reserve the right to make changes to any and all rules at any time as necessary, although I will always strive to avoid doing so. If changes are necessary, I will always strive for fairness to all players.

Foe lists are ignored for this tournament.
