De-randomize the spoils?

I'm playing a nukes game, and it's an interesting twist. In this particular game, I've discovered that a few territories seem to get nuked pretty often, while others never appear. I'm sure you've all experienced a time where you play a spoil, and then get the same spoil over again. I imagine this is ...

Re: Game Page Layout Discussion

RJBeals is on the right track.

I've complained in the past about how any given screen in the forum is two lines of actual content, the same thing applies here. When you're filling in a web form -- or taking a turn in a game, all the stuff that's around the interface that you don't need/want is ...

Re: Game Statistics

I wish conquerclub weren't 1280 pixels wide. Honestly. w3schools says that close to half of all web traffic is only 1024 px wide -- and many of us who are don't browse full screen.

I get the value of the data, I've used a bookmarklet that does this for years. However, I only need the data once in a ...

Forum Request

Can we have the option of turning off medals on the forum page? Or a theme that is designed for actually reading a thread? I find the current prosilver port to be lacking.

I don't use these forums much, I admit. I have a small screen, and I spend more time trying to find the discussion than ...

Re: New Years Resolution: Newbie Farming is not Cool.

I think it'd be just as easy to change the points equation from:

(loser's score / winner's score) * 20, up to a maximum of 100 points from each opponent

to

((loser's score / winner's score) * 20) - 5

Anyone over 2500 points who takes on a newbie would actually lose points.

cheers.

Respectfully, if I want to draw out a game, I just wait to take my turn. I get a whole day as it is, I don't see that one hour is a significant difference.

Clicking "end turn" isn't difficult in and of itself, that's true. But if the site has a hiccough, if my router decides to overheat, if my ...

Get a card even if you don't click "end turn"

This may have come up, searching this place is a bear.

I've discovered that if you take some territories but don't end your turn, you don't get a card. That's all well and good to punish people who let their turn run out intentionally, but it's not so hot when you get disconnected (for whatever ...

army and territory count bookmarklet

Here's a quick bookmarklet script that may or may not be useful to you folks. I keep it in my bookmarks bar. Basically, you hit the bookmarklet, and the browser shows an alert that contains the players' names and how many armies and territories they have.

To use it, you create a bookmark and ...
