IE7 Pro Plugins???

Post by Soloman »

Does anyone have any scripts that will work with IE7 Pro? IS anyone here familiar with it. It can support scripts just Like Grease Monkey. I was just wondering if any one new how to develop or convert the current plugins so that I can use then through IE7 Pro. It is a freeware just like Grease Monkey and for those of us that do not use Firefox for various reasons it lets us do a lot of the same and is compatible more so with other applications. Hope I can get a response on this.

There's no valid excuse not to use Firefox, Opera or any browser other than IE7.

Firefox has as many pluses as it has minuses. IE7 is compatible with everything I use in Life Firefox is not, At work people downloading firefox caused issues with the servers and programs we were using there yet another headache. I avoid after many past hassles Firefox like the plagueIE7 any day over it. Never have had any issues with IE7 that were not just problems with the site in general. IE7 Pro is lovely as it opens up script use on IE7 for everyone just like firefox and killing any reason I would even consider the mess that Fire fox brings with it.

I'm not surprised that you failed at Firefox, seeing that IE7 is compatible with your 'Life'. Anybody with a little bit of common sense would prefer any other browser over IE, then again your thought patterns are likely to be as incoherent as your posts.

Write your own scripts and post them here. That's what Firefox users do.

Frop, he is asking a valid question. Just because most of the people here use Firefox, does not mean that no one else can use IE or Safari or whatever else. People have come up with ways to use the plugins on Macs, all Soloman is asking for is some help getting these same plugins that we all love to work with IE. If he is able to do that, it will then be easier when people ask in the forums how to get the plugins. People won't come off as snobby saying "go get Firefox".

Back on topic. Soloman: I use Firefox and I am have not tried to code a script. Your best bet would be to PM Yeti or chipv and see if they have any suggestions. If you get a response, please post it here because I will be directing others here.

Sorry about that yeti. Soloman, it seems that you might want to try writing the scripts yourself, or finding someone else who knows how to write scripts for IE7Pro. Sorry that I could not be of help.

I posted in Suggestions about this in comment to a idea I posted here as I saw that this would be the applicable place for it I do not ssee my posting here as being inappropriate as I felt that more of the indivuals whom address would view here guess I was wrong. Not directed at you primarliy Lancehoch as it was more to the fact you apologized when it was most likely not warranted.

Soloman, I'm currently in the middle of changing Map Rank to work with IE7Pro (just downloaded it) - there are a few modifications to make.
