I can either fort him...in which case I seriously doubt he makes it around till my next turn...

Or I can take him out and pick up his 3 cards...

If I fort him, I probably lose my control and bonus in SA

Is it more strategic on the 1st move to deploy only in Aussie, where the other team has a slight advantage...and attack? or just deploy?

Or to deploy in an area where your team has a slight advantage, like South Amer. and attack? or just deploy ...

I do not see that any was left by you for anyone else. Try This, go into a recently finished game that you and the other player were in and click on players name and leave feedback. And post back here to let us know if it worked
