Classic map...triples, flat rate, adjacent
Is it more strategic on the 1st move to deploy only in Aussie, where the other team has a slight advantage...and attack? or just deploy?
Or to deploy in an area where your team has a slight advantage, like South Amer. and attack? or just deploy?
Thanks in advance

This probably isn't the best idea, but in that position, I'd deploy in aussie and attack.

in triples and doubles, go for continents where you are strong. but always remember that killing an opponent is worth more than any bonus
if one person on your team owns, lets say, 3 out of 4 places in aussie and some1 else on your teams owns the last one but the person with 3 goes first he SHOULD NOT take aussie unless it isnt unlimited fortifications. if its unlimited forts then he should fortify all his troops there into the one territory. this will leave a large army with only 3 1s to take to get a bonus whereas you waste troops taking three FRIENDLY armies and likely will lose some of your own. that was just an example and works on any map all you need is significant strength in a continent
NEVER allow any1 on your team to become weak, if this means giving up an attack and deploying on your buddy to save them its worth it. if you can eliminate some1 on the other team (note i said other, this only applies when its just your team and one other team, not in 3 team doubles unless you can save your buddy by doing this) and you cant eliminate one of their players as compensation lol.
NEVER allow opponents to kill your teammates for cards if you can help it. eliminating a teammate for his/her cards has led to quite a few victories taken from the jaws of defeat. be sure your teammate knows what your doing and why because this has alaso led to a few negative feedbacks.
if youll note i havent played many team games but this is just the stuff that seems obvious to me
