Win%

Next to a user's win%, put the average number of players/teams in the games that the person played in. Win% alone doesn't tell me much.

If you have a 50%, but play in 2v2 games all the time, that's not that great.
If you have a 50%, but play in 5 and 6 player individual games, that's pretty great ...

That's why the sub-title is "Earth: 200 Million Years Ago". I realize its not a true pangea, I don't think that would be very fun to play or even that playable. (see the other failed attempts).

The only thing I don't like is having the oceans as territories, I think the ships would be enough, and Poseidon can attack any of those.

And how does the sacrificing work? Do you need to be at an alter?

I think its great!

Still a little confusing, but I haven't tried all that hard to learn everything about it yet.

And I too was expecting some sweet Greek God pictures rather than colums, but if it helps define the rules and makes it less cluttered I guess that's the way to go.

I think the layout of the map is excellent. Some of the bonuses don't seem to work out.

Particularly, The Bronx.

With the Bronx, If you hold it, all you have to do is take Harlem and East Harlem, and you only have 2 border countries. I'd suggest knocking this down a bit, like a 4.

Yeah, I ...

Sure, I like the concept. I'd have to see at least a preliminary map before I decide if I'd want to play it.

Don't get me wrong Sbrylski, I would love to see a Pangea map be successful, but this quote by you...

this is all I got.

See I'm hearing two different things now. You are the most vocal and saying it won't work in this form, but some have ...

Why is Scandinavia called "European Wisconsin"? Here in Wisconsin we are much more German and Polish. It should be European Minnesota.

Its not about if enough people can tell you if it will work or not.

Any map can work, as long as use use imagination and effort.

If you just come in here with a vague map, and say, "well it sucks because nobody is giving me any suggestions" then it will never work.

To get it off the ground, you ...

OK.

How is this different enough from your last submissions and previous pangea attempts?

Not a whole lot different, just added some countries.

Other Pangea attempts used actual lump landmass that made it rather unplayable. Mine is at least just after the breakup of Pangea to create more ...

How's this for imaginitive:

A dynamic map charting the spread of the continents over the past 250 million years.

It would start out as a true Pangea, rather than the Gondwanaland/Laurasia set-up I have above. Each turn, a new map is generated with the continents slowly sliding apart. As they get ...

This one will never work if you post a vague map then ask people what you should do.

Yeah, I didn't want to do too much work right away if it wouldn't have any interest.

It seems like a Pangea map is something that would be popular if done right, of course. I'll put a lot more work into it and ...

10 thousanth pangea try, and counting. thi one, just as the last, is unplayable.

Well, I'm obviously adding more territories. Why would you say unplayable? Its barely started?

And what would make it more playable? I hate the giant lump landmass, so I'll make strategic "isthmuses" over the ...

its been attempted a number of times. if u want to do it u need to use diffirent names. no point remaking classic.

You think? I am thinking the novelty of shifted countries/continents and different attack routes would be enough to make it interesting and fun to play.

I'd like to hear others ...
