Morale

Post by bellaraphon »

This idea is for morale on countries you've held for a while.

effectively, at the end of every round your morale on the countries you've held for that round increase. if your country is conquered but you regain it the morale starts again. the morale affects the dice roll, the higher the morale, the more likely you are of succeeding in your attack or defence.

this is needed because everyone complains about dice roll outcomes and this would put a bit of sense into it.

what are your thoughts.

I don't know if that sounds like it is a codeable idea.

You could say Age of Magic does this: the unpopulated areas suffer from low morale, and so one army dies every round.

that was written by hecter for us non computer literate people.

if you go up to the ajax topic in gd and try to read about the way they do coding you will see hecter was being rather nice to us in his explanation. He could have said alot about our intelligence or lack there of.

We already have autodeploys and decays though, on a map to map basis.

it doesnt increase though, say after 2 rounds, 1 army, after the next 2, 2 armies or something like that and if you lose it and regain it it starts again

But that isn't really feasible.
