The first Person to not advance is kyle2636. Becuase Giroux has finished above him 2 out of the 3 games. The Rest "Drop Down"

So does thatr mean if after 3 games two people tie for last, the person who started the final game with less points gets eliminated?

No. I fyou finish above somebody, meaning you surive longer than him twice you will beat him.
