Looks like Illinois State may be in full on deadbeat mode - I see they have 3 or 4 games they have not joined backed up here - or perhaps life has just intervened
Unfortunately, we have several players that are back-logged 3 or 4 games. I'm hoping its just college students, who were away for holiday break and didn't have access...but I will go to the reserve list if I don't hear word by mid-week.
SC goes on a 4-0 run in games 16-19 untill Alabama wins game 20 but it looks as if SC will wrap up games 21 and 22 soon and make a push to get back into the finals
Let's see if I can keep it up! I need to win a few more and get my seeding up for the conference tourney. I don't think I can get in without winning that.
First installment of Bracketology to come out late Tuesday night...hopefully. Look for it along with the new top-10 on http://www.flexmaster33.blogspot.com
May your reactions to the committee impressions be varied
Looks like we might have some late-season flameouts, so I will likely exhaust our reserves list and may still have an opening or two. If you know of anyone who would like to finish out the season have them pm me or post in here...I'm hoping to replace coaches by the end of the week at the latest.
Remember, for any current coaches with poor records or any newcomers, the winners of the conference tourneys gain an automatic March Madness berth, so there is always hope for a championship...think George Mason.
Also, we will play an NIT tournament for the rest of the field, so there will be a postseason for everyone.
pms have been sent to reserve players to take over Georgetown, San Diego State, Villanova and Illinois State. If any of these coaches want to remain in the league they need to pm me or post in this thread (not to mention catch up on their games) ASAP.
Several players have requested this down the stretch of the season, so here it is. Please don't read too much into this...I'm not putting the full review on teams, just some general observations and estimates to give people an idea of where they may stand. The official committee review for final selection (including automatic bids) will be much more in depth.
