Crickets the best game in the world, no question.
And much as I love Marcus, how could he be captain when he finds it mentally challenging at the best of times just to play a match?

cena did say if they were fit, I assume he meant mentally as well as physically. He'd be in my team

you give KP a place in there? be reasonable, when was the last time you saw him string together a few 50s, let alone a century. media sensation and wacky hair, bell is a better batsman and knows how to grind it out when the going is tough. KP had one great series, ashes 05 and hes done bugger all since
had i been wise, i would have seen that her simplicity cost her a fortune
He has had a bit of a rough time since then you are right, but I would give him a run in the side to see if he could rediscover his form. If he failed I would replace with Derek Randall - an entertaining stroke playing batsman and an outstanding fielder.

Since the 05 series who, out of all the batsmen used has strung together a few 50s?
What a great fantasy line up! I'd be tempted to stick Atherton in instead of Lamb, as otherwise Boycs is the only steady grinder on the top six.
And how many times in the eighties did we see a flair, strokeplay England top six collapse to some very embarrassing scores?
But class line up nonetheless.
Before the last series, KP was still averaging 50-which tells its own story.
