if you don't like the idea don't play the map. that's the entire point of having other maps, moron. If you are going to be negative stay out of my thread.

I like the idea...sort of, you have a LOT of work to do.

This might help.

If YOU are going to be negative, stay out of the community. I know, Im not the right person to say it.

Anyway, I dont think there is sufficient appeal for a Texas map. Unless we have some new features in it... but even new features could be better used is some more interesting, I think. Would you play a map of my borough? Or a map of my room? And how could you expect good feedback posting a thing like that? That was not even a kick off, something that people can comment or suggest things. Maybe the other guy was harsh, but no need to flame him in this forum. When you have something concrete, you can get feedback, and in this case it can be good or bad. For now, "dont play the map" is ridiculous, huh? What map? So, take it easy please.

OMG please STFU, he can react however he pleases.

Not enough appeal? Was there enough appeal for Crossword or Circus Maximus? He just started the thing.

And please don't refer to this place as a community again.

I disagree. No need to be unpolite.

I dislike those maps, too. And I told this for those maps, too. But this was my opinion, like I said. Of course it can become a real map, and a good one, but I saw nothing until this point. And I really dont see any reason for a map of any USA state map (like I see no reason for any Brazil state map, or any Mongolia state map).

And please don't refer to this place as a community again.

Still not that good, huh?
The image is tiny and the names are not legible to me. Anyway, 27 countries in 7 continents? And only 5 non-border countries in the whole map? :?

Why is america such a linear country (after looking at dislerealbrown's link and the US map)? I think if there was going to be any American state that was going to be made into a map, this would be it, it is the most famous state of the US.

People know only of New York city, not of the actual state. California is up there, but everyone knows about texas.

I disagree. He was reacting to a useless post in a serious thread.

I dislike those maps, too.

Exactly. If there is room for a map of Montreal almost anything goes.

This is an on-line forum, not a commune or a hostel or a dorm. There are way to many people here for you to chastise someone for something so trivial.

Looking better.

If we have learned anything from the last 2 maps, the more "countries" the better.

Break it up more.

If you are talking about the number of mexicans living in those areas, then we should combine all parts of texas, and New Mexico, and Arizona, And Southern California into the "real new mexico"

If that is not what you are talking about then your post was pointless and you should put some more thought into it and try it again.

As for anyone offended by my comment about mexicans, I apologize, but you know it's true.

Made some changes to the Panhandle area, thinned some lines and added several territories, If anyone knows a better file type than GIF to save it in let me know, I'd like to keep the colors intact.

Or if you know of a pic hosting site that will let me upload jpegs that would be even better.

anyway, here's the map
