1.) mechanix (ok ya thats basically a direct copy)
2.) the chords in hangar 18 copy PART of the INTRO in call of ktulu

Are you kidding? The type of music, the fact that their early years were thrash and their latter years where more mellow (but still intense) rock directly mimic the playing style of metallica.
