The year is 1876 and life in what will become the Dakota Territory is harsh, brutal and full of cut-throats and thieves. Everyone in the mining camp is there for one reason, gold. If you aren’t trying to stake your claim you’re there making a living off those who are. Whether you are selling hardware or your body everyone is looking for a piece of the color. Welcome to Deadwood, a hell of a place to make your fortune.
OK here’s the scoop this game needs 26 players and will be open to just about anyone. If I know you or have played w/ you then chances are you’re free to join. If I don’t know you, get someone I do know to vouch for you. I’d ask that first time players look elsewhere because this game, setup, and characters are not your average bear. All character assignments will be random unless I deem a player un-wise enough or too inexperienced to take on one of the key roles (likely won’t happen). I’d like to get a consensus among players as to a start date, could start as early as this week, or later if that’s what it takes to get the players. Keep in mind this is my first time modding and mistakes may happen, if they do I will fix what I can, but I think I’m enough of an un-tard to get it right. This game should be a unique (I made up the format) experience, so don’t expect things to happen the way you are used to, more details will be in the game rules when it starts.
