Uploading Pics from your computer

* Specifics: I think its somewhere underneath poll or something. Im very sure you can do this with the current version of phpBB
* Why it is needed: It would help a lot with quickness, n00bs, and maps

As well as eating up server space that would be better suited toward other things. Map file sizes can be huge, and images don't compress nearly as well as text does. Plus the server space required just to send the images... No, this is a game site, first and foremost, therefore most of our resources should go to, well, playing games.

I run a free (no advertising, no registration) image host.

use that, and after your one-click upload, it also gives you the code to copy/paste to post it in a forum

If for whatever reason supporting a free service brought to you by a fellow CCer, how about any of the other dozens of other free webhosting sites that allow hotlinking. Flickr, photobucket, imageshack....the internet has plenty of free resources for stuff like this.
