I know this isn't exactly CC related..but...
If anyone is interested in this fine game by Avalon Hill, I just thought I would pass the word that Toys 'R Us online has this game for $9.98 (normally $45.00) and shipping is FREE. Fantastic deal.

Thanks for not posting this in the Off Topic Topics forum as I don't always read that one.
That is a great deal.

Poet, is this the original Axis and Allies or a different version?
I apologize in advance for not doing my own little research, but by posting here and asking you, I'm able to both successfully succumb to my own laziness and converse with one of my favorite points-giver-awayer.

It is based on the original .. more like a variant. I picked up a copy at a thrift store for $2.99 and was hooked. I taught my 7 and 8 yr old boys how to play and now they beg me all the time for a game.
I, uhh, bought one and then had a friend at work buy another for me.

If you can't provide it, then don't offer it .. I'll keep a watch out and let you know if I run across anything else good, Tr0y.

A&A, great game. Well, the board game is anyway. As for computer based games, CC blows A&A out of the water!
