Not very original, but how about a Fall of the Roman Empire map.
The Barbarians invade, one palyer is Rome etc
Idle musing really.

There are already two maps of the Roman Empire circulating around... is Guiscard's abandoned or not, by the way?

The roman empire was already pretty screwed by the year 476 so it wouldn´t be another "roman empire map exactly..

I toyed with a draft for such a map last year.. but it looked very hard to make it playable so I abandoned it before even posting it.

found a very early version - almost half a rough draft I guess..

continents went something like Visigoth, Ostrogoth, Vandals, Roman empire, Franks,
Pagan Germanic (Angli+Saxons+Jutes+Frisii) and a few others

suevi+burgundy+visigoth would be "western Arianism" extra bonus in the same way as in world 2.1 and I think I wanted to cheat by adding the vasconi to that.. well it got complicated :lol:
