[5-Feb-2008] Forum Upgrade Failure

It is with a heavy heart that I come to you tonight.

After two hours of struggling a hard fought battle the forum upgrade team has succumbed to bugs.

An error stopped our database conversion and try as he might, Lackattack's valiant efforts could not pull us through.

We have decided to rest for the night, re-group in the morning, find the source of the bug(s) and try again as soon as we can.

We apologize for the down time once again and will keep any necessary future downtime to an absolute minimum.

Thank you for your understanding. This upgrade will, once it works, allow a lot of new features and happy things.
