this is the second time someone has had a bonus in the first round in games I've played. That is ridiculous and gives the other player a huge advantage. there should be something in place to safe gaurd against that either the first round gives no bonuses or better "randomizing"

if you knew what you were talking about, you would know that "random" means that there is no patern AT ALL. If nobody ever got a bonus the first round, then it wouldnt be very random.

so far 2:0 regardless I wouldn't want an advantage like that at the start it takes away from the fun and challenge! if they set no bonuses for the first round then the other player or players would have an opportunity to get a bonus or break the other players.

What do yo mean it takes away the fun of the challenge. I've received a full continent round 1 and every one else teamed up against me. It was very challenging to end up winning that game. I think if anything it adds fun.
