What is the first rank you fear?

Well, not really, but if this rank joins a game of yours you don't think "this ones in the bag". So pretty much vote for what is the first rank that you don't really judge as being an easy win. Ex: Oh, now a cook joined my game! I'll lose for sure!!!(cry, cry, cry) :cry:

I've got a phobia of cooks...having been on the bottom due to luck, I know that there are some pretty decent players who just got stuck with shitty luck there.

Definitely cooks, simply for the fact most of them(not all) are completely moronic, and suicide 1st turn in a 1 vs 1 game, ultimately giving them the game.

Other than that, I don't believe anyone.
Anyone can be beaten on any given day, and every game is a new one.

Not to be a stick-in-the-mudd, but I don't think you can approach any game "fearing" your opponent due to his/her rank...

I've beat Colonels and lost to Cooks.

Certainly I can "respect" another players rank, but I'd probably play the same style regardless of whom I was up against!

Besides, some of those in high positions are only there because they live, eat, and breathe CC.

Rank is never an issue, occassionally the drop is a fright,
but more often it's the dice that scare the shit out of me.

clearly people do. as you progress in rank you start to notice people more likely to attack/suicide you in public games just because of the symbol. id say it starts at captain and gets worse at major. colonel is probably even worse but theyre never in public games anyway unless its teams..

Any rank below a LT I fear the most...I voted cook coz they are total loose cannons..You never know what they are going to do.
The higher the rank and this is not in all cases..The more conservative they are.

Well all I play any more is age of magic. So I can beat just about in rank if I am not having bad luck. So i fear the cook cuase I will lose tons of points if a have bad luck.

I do not consider each game a war, just a battle. And we all know you win some you lose some.

I do not fear the rank, but I have a healthy respect for the name.

When you play as many games as I do you do not have time to look at ranks in a game. But the names stare out at you. Those I have to watch what they are up to.
