there's still a bonus per castle. it's 4. read the legend. each castles gives a +4 autodeploy bonus. in chapter 1 there was a +5 per castle. and in chapter 2 a +3 autodeploy per castle.Mr_Adams wrote:one idea you've inserted here that seems horrible was ... No 5 per castle?!? that was one of the best parts of the game. The strategie built around it was great. If you take that away, it seems like you'll be disconecting it from the rest of the trilogy... but this is just a players opinion. I can make maps worth crap
correct.sfhbballnut wrote:the map's growing on me, something about the lightning, question though, having a castle makes you cantrol that race and thus get the bonuses correct?
as the legend says, each castle or sanctuary has a +4 autodeploy bonus.Sir. But expand where, out of your territory to other lands?
exactly. castle or sanctuaryMr_Adams wrote:oh, ok. I thought it was castle + sanctuary, but it's castle or sanctuary...
1. blood waters are the portions of water that are red. i don't know how to make them more clear. if you have any suggestions please tell me.MrBenn wrote:Just wanted to add my penny-worth...
1. It took me a while to work out what the blood waters were - probably just me being stupid, but I'm certain that others are even more stupid than me... Not sure of a simple solution though...
2. The rune bonus... Do you need both to get +2, or is it +2 each? I'm assuming you need both (as in the prequels), but the legend doesn't make that clear.
3. The legend text explaining about the Sanctuary/Blood waters is slightly confusing, and could do with being reworded slightly
4. I was looking at the map, and wondered if you could 'capsize' the boat that's in the blood waters - purely for some comedy value...
the runes themselves have a blue glow and the army shields in those terits also have blue glows. those glows are there to identify the runes. also you have a pretty explicit terit name: "rock rune 1" and "rock rune 2".fireedud wrote:For the rock runes, Can you make them more distinct? they completely blend with the background.
The name gives it away, but I think it just blends in more than other runes, could you perhaps give it another color/shade?DiM wrote:the runes themselves have a blue glow and the army shields in those terits also have blue glows. those glows are there to identify the runes. also you have a pretty explicit terit name: "rock rune 1" and "rock rune 2".fireedud wrote:For the rock runes, Can you make them more distinct? they completely blend with the background.
i don't know how to make them stand out more.
it is a different shade and texture than the land. but the fact that it's a rock rune on a rock land makes it hard to find a big differentiation. i will try thoughfireedud wrote:The name gives it away, but I think it just blends in more than other runes, could you perhaps give it another color/shade?DiM wrote:the runes themselves have a blue glow and the army shields in those terits also have blue glows. those glows are there to identify the runes. also you have a pretty explicit terit name: "rock rune 1" and "rock rune 2".fireedud wrote:For the rock runes, Can you make them more distinct? they completely blend with the background.

yes the sanctuary can attack the blood waters directly. and each blood water gives you +1 and it has a decay of -10Tieryn wrote:re: blood water territories, how about this?
"Sanctuary Island bleeds into the surrounding waters. The Lich-decay in the blood causes these territories to lose 10 armies per turn. Sanctuary castle can attack the blood water directly"
Question : so the territories get -10 per turn, but you get a +1 deploy bonus if you have them? that seems... odd? Also, when it says the liches can attack the blood waters territories directly, is that just from sanctuary castle?
hehe. i'm thinking 2-3 other related maps with various side quests and stuff.MOBAJOBG wrote:Perhaps, there should be another 3 further chapters ...something reminiscent of the epic Star Wars 6-episode movies.
will do.Mr_Adams wrote:could you make the blood water fade into the ocean, instead of having such an abrupt halt? it looks unnatural. maybe you could use the same tool you used for the shallow to deep watters. of corse, as many of the other suggestions on the last few pages, this would just be for asthetics, not to help game play...
