hey i just had a thought, on each map the once some one gets a bonus or an advantage it acts like a snowball effect and they just keep on winning more which helps them win more and so on. so i thought what about a map where you become weaker as you win more. any ideas? criticisms? people who think this is the worst idea and i am anut case?
i was also thinking what about a map where its huge, but everybody only starts with one territory and everybody has to work their way up.
Not that hard really actually. It could be done a couple of ways:
1) overrides for pairs of continents - so you say get only 4 if you have Africa and SA
2) A modification of the territory bonus - a severe version of the territory bonus revision used in Conquer Man is now available to be used in map design.

Play escalating. Continent bonuses don't mean as much.
I am slightly confused, but I think you mean that once you get a bonus, you get a longer turn???? Or do you mean that you get a small bonus for one continent a larger one for two, etc.
If the latter, then you might try playing the Age of Merchants map and the Age of Realms map set. They do just that, with resource pairs.
