Great advice, except the part about respect. Pretty much, treat girls like shit, especially the ones you like (rea: hot ones). They'll interpret your dickishness as interest (isn't that how it was back in grade school? It's still the same way) and will start showing interest back if she's down.
If you aren't looking for sex, what are you doing messing with girlfriends? Trust me dude, it's not worth it without the sex unless you REALLY enjoy spending time with her. And even then, why ruin a perfectly good friendship with a few months of spending money on her and not being able to hang out much with other girls, only to end in "heartbreak" and the awkwardness of trying to stay friends but eventually drifting apart? It'll ruin your friendships, so unless you're aiming for sex and the only way you can get it is to date, what the hell are you doing?
