right click the monkey and make sure you only have one copy of bob installed... one of the more recent updates did not replace the old one.biscuit boy wrote:I am having issues with the ASIA map. How do you define "New Message"?bazmac wrote:Love your script! It's added even more enjoyment to a great site!
I was wondering though, have you thought about a new message alert in the heads up display?

I would hazard a guess that he's referring to the left bar's Personal (Inbox) message? Just a guess.yeti_c wrote:How do you define "New Message"?bazmac wrote:Love your script! It's added even more enjoyment to a great site!

In which case - if a new message comes in - then the menu is unhidden...yowzer14 wrote:I would hazard a guess that he's referring to the left bar's Personal (Inbox) message? Which (again I assume) is where he would rather see the message waiting...not on the left but rather in the HUD...yeti_c wrote:In which case - if a new message comes in - then the menu is unhidden...yowzer14 wrote:I would hazard a guess that he's referring to the left bar's Personal (Inbox) message? But he mentioned in the HUD?

That might be what I thought you meant...bazmac wrote:Sorry for not defining that. I was meaning on game chat, sometimes during your turn a teammate may wish you to change your tactic or another player may ask for a truce. It's happened to me but I didn't notice till after I'd finished.

I was having this same issue as well. I only had one version of BOB installed. The only fix was removing BOB. I have added it back again but I have not tried to play a game with it yet.biscuit boy wrote:I am having issues with the ASIA map. It could be that you have a "Neutral is a deadbeat" game...biscuit boy wrote:I am having issues with the ASIA map. It is possible - however it would require a read of the Mygames page - and then a parse of the same page...Optimus Prime wrote:Here's a question, and it may have already been answered, or might not even be possible.
Is BOB something that could read the "My Games" page and when I have new turns put a fancy (5) next to My Games on the game menu? That way when I'm working on administrative stuff I can see my turns pile up to 5 or 6 before going over to check on them?
Just curious.

Or you could just a script which tells you how many turns you have every 5 minutes. It's around. It's pretty useful.Optimus Prime wrote:Here's a question, and it may have already been answered, or might not even be possible.

No - the Action form (the bit where you press buttons) is only available for games you are in...Stoney229 wrote:can we have an option for a HUD for games that we are only viewing/visiting?

With the forum? I was just thinking about that. Well, over the past few days actually.yeti_c wrote:I think there should be an action form though with a "Jump to next game" link in - but that's a Lack thing...
