Diddle i dont know why you happy abouth that,what will you say if Scotland or North Ireland what hes independent county to,or Northern Cyprus,or Republic Serbs in Bosnia,or Baskia in Spain,or Corsica in France.

well if we get kosovo independent we have 2 allies in the balkans, kosovo and albania also my m8's at work come from kosovo

Because Russia sided with Serbia and we sided with Russia. Oh and Austria were allies with Germany.

Well you took you shot with Milošević in creating "The Great Serbia". You lost Kosovo because you have been killing Kosovars for 100 years now. Now deal with it!

90% of Kosovo population are Albanians. And Historic right? Well some parts of Vojvodina (1/3) were Croatian (with Croatian majority in most of them) and you don't see me running with a rifle to re-take Zemun.

In 25 from now years we could be living in United States of Europe so it doesn't matter is Corsicans or Basques or some other minority wants their independence.

EDIT: I'm always for the underdogs and giving self-governing rights to minorities.

So why English soldier kiling Irish people,did he also have right for independent?Who live in Northern Ireland?
Ignotus,you call Scotish people Minority?These people have history of hes country,and for me it will be normal that have hes own independent country.
Do you belive that Spain will give independent to Bask,or that France will give independent to Corsica.
Ignotus where you find that in Vojvodina lives 1/3 Croatians?How many croatians live in Vojvodina do you know?

And last these discusion is irelevant because Kosovo is not independent Country,and these will be when Serbia agree with that,like Northern Cyprus who have also declared independent but never recognise from UN.

that was about 40 yrs ago, i have a irish backround and so do my family and they fought in the northern ireland war anyway the IRA killed loads of english people and in the uk scots are a minority english are the majority

that was about 40 yrs ago, i have a irish backround and so do my family and they fought in the northern ireland war anyway the IRA killed loads of english people and in the uk scots are a minority english are the majority

So you want to tell me that if someon ask Irish people do he wants independent,he will say no?I know that in Scotland(North part of UK)English people is minority,and that Scotish people is majority,they also have own parlament.

Any nation that is a part of a bigger country has a natural right of national independence on it's national territory, but that's just my opinion.

About Vojvodina I was referring to time prior to WWI. Go check population censuses and Austro-Hungarian maps if you don't believe me. Nowdays situation is clearly different in Vojvodina and I don't want to turn this in to nationalist argument. Actually I have a couple colleagues that came from Vojvodina (like Mario Bara).

Kosovo is still not recognized as an independent country, but I think it's just a question of hours or days.

I actually like Serbia. Zvezda is a great club. I was in Beograd last year and it seems like a really nice town. But Serbia needs to wake up and smell the reality.

Because Nazi Germany was allied with Japan and Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. If Japan would not have attacked Pearl harbor the US would have stayed neutral.

Southern Ireland is it's own country the Republic of Ireland. Northern Ireland has it set down in it's constitution that they can cede from the United Kingdom and join the Republic of Ireland if they want to.

Yes we sold // lend lease // to the countries fighting in Europe pre to the US declaring war after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

After WW I the US (like it does after every war) down sized its military.. The thought was Europeans need to figure this s*** out. It does not involve us.

Now all of this is readily available for you to read if you do a little research....
