can someone make a map about world war II maybe, like omaha beach but including japan and USA and Europe? or would it not work? or be too much like classic?

well i suppose it wouldnt be like omaha beach but just for an example of another map including a WW

lol, no worries. it's not as daunting as it seems at first.
it takes a short time to become familiar with how things work.
but we love to have new people come in, even if they don't know the process at first (how could you?).

it's a thread that doesn't get moved.

jakejake....qwert has a map of WWII Ardennes Offensive in the Map Foundry.

I have a WWII map in Final Forge called the Battle of Gazala about Tobruk. This will be added to later by the the other two map in the Tobruk series - El Amein and The Desert Rats.

Leter this year I might start working on a Midway map.

So they are coming out, but because map development takes two-three months, they will be slow.

But keep your eyes open, and don't be imtimidated by the Foundry. It's not really that scary.

i just want to see one that has like the world in, not just a part, i never understood that WWII Jima map at the bottom of "create a game" part, never understood wat it had to do with WWII, i didnt play it though so i can t really judge

The War On Terrorism...1st one to find and kill osama wins!!

like theres 4 places where he could be, 4 paths and each path has about 5 steps on it, guarded by nutrals with lots of armies...this would be set in the world so then when you kill osama - you win!! lol - very far fetched!!

a map with WWII with all of the countries involved on would be too much like world 2.1, look!!!

the same basically, the dark green were the countries involved in the war on allies, and the light green, and the orange are the axis, the only people not involved are the grey!!

It might be an interesting variation on the World map because the bonuses would be very different. I think it could be an interesting twist.

could be but no-one would make it!...could be better with boats, planes and things like that, and bombarding things - like the AA guns on Pearl Harbour

WWII Took place in certain parts of the world....as far as battles go....so a True WWII map will only show Conflict zones... Like Omaha Beach, Iwo Jima, WWII (Western & Eastern - And Soon Central) Front... Also Battle For Australia is a WWII map… Maybe they should all have WWII attached to the front of there names… But if you want a global WWII Map Then you are basically playing A Global Map....Like Classic or World 2.1.... Maybe If you have an Idea as for a new one write it out and Im sure you will find a mapmaker to create it
