This is next worse thing since the card counter.
Soon we shall just have a start button and it'll be all automated.

Owen, don't worry! I own it but I don't use it!
Woo.

I haven't used this, but seen some talk about it... even played a game where someone said "don't you see that so-and-so has XXX more armies than me".... just assuming I used Ajax or BOB or whatever the hell the thing is. (Or are there mutliple "tools" out there like this?)
I could see it being useful on large maps like World 2.1, which I play a lot... but can't see how it would be needed on smaller maps.
Even so... it seems like CC's version of a "Performance Enhancing Substance". Can anyone say Roger?

Question... in a FOW game... does this help you "see" info you otherwise wouldn't see from the logs?
Bob really just saves a hell of a lot of time. The army and bonus counts are very useful when you're looking for eliminations and map inspect is my other favourite bit. Ever tried an elimination and thought you'd made it, only to find you've skipped a territory out somewhere? well map inspect solves that and makes it a lot easier to find where you want to attack. I couldn't play some of the newer maps without it cos I wouldn't know the attack routes.

I understand what you guys are saying but if you dont need to study the map, dont need to gauge the strength of the opponents, dont need to work out the attack routes....err where is the skill

Sorry to burst the bubble but the script doesn't actually do that.

Agreed, or the fun for that matter
People that use these things should also be branded with a big sign or something, scarlet letter style
Maybe give them some kind of icon in a wheelchair that lets people know they need help

this is ridiculous, EXACTLY the same amount of skill is required, it simply saves me having to look over the map again and again and just makes peoples positions more clear to me.
I also have poor eyesight and have to stare at the screen and squint enough even with BOB. bob is a fantastic invention.
this is similar to complaining about people using glasses, all BOB does is make it clearer as to where people are and there army count, it is a time saver (and effectively a magnifying glass) and a very good one at that.

But what you're talking about isn't skill comic - it's just something that takes more time than it should. And Bob can't help me for strategy - I don't trust it for gauging strength too much and it is irrelevant in escalating anyway, which is what I play most of
