* Suggestion Idea: A new game variant.



* Specifics: Basically one player will be "It" and this will be randomly chosen. Whoever is "It" gets double bonuses for everything (for example: he gets a minimum of 6 armies for territories, and double continent bonuses). He will be "It" for maybe a couple of rounds (idk how many) or until he eliminates someone. When he loses the "It" abilities, a new "It" is randomly chosen. Everyone must be "It" once before someone is "It" for a second time. When the second round of "It"s come, it will not be in the same order (well, it can be if you're lucky enough).



* Why it is needed: It would be an interesting game variant. One person would control the map until he loses his powers.

What happens if the It is eliminated?

Most likely, the person who eliminated him would be it.

I like this idea. Seems more interesting, especially when you bring cards into the factor. :twisted:

random new one i guess. Or maybe the person who eliminated him becomes it? but that might lead to someone being it too many times in a row.

seems to me that the person that is "it" would just get everybody else down to nothing before he took someone else out right? that would mean that he could easily take them out once he is no longer it right?

Well he wouldnt be that strong in most games. In the begining of a game of Classic, he would have 6 armies and maybe grab Aussie or weaken the other players. In a normal game, he would probably win. In this game, the next player who is "it" would just dominate right back.

Perhaps there should be a downside for being "it"...

I.e. everyone attacks you - well i guess that might be the case anyway!!

now that would be interesting, if everybody was FORCED to attack only you while your it, and you could counteract the ammount of armies a person gets by increasing the ammount you get by triple, instead of just doubling it. of course then it may have to change who is it every round. would work best with fewer players i guess because then it could just be doubled.

sounds like kill the dill with the pill,
maybe make it that who ever is "it" stays "it" until there out, then everyone will be forced to team up against them. then who ever does knock the "it" out will be "it" and have to fight the others off just the same.

this can happen 2 ways
The "it" got it down to 2 by wiping another player, in which case they will probably win or
1 player knocked the "It" out getting it to 2 players in which case you will have to knock him out to win.

or the game could just be altered so that its 1 against every one, if any single player knocks the "it" out you all win as a team and if you win as "it" you get a huge bounty of points.
