1980s Communist Invasion of US [Strange Maps]

Came across this on the awesome Strange Maps website. It's a map found in a Yugoslavian atlas detailing a late 1980s communist invasion of a weakened United States. Please read through the text and comments at the link below for more info on what it's all about....

Territories could definitely be created out of US, Canada, Mexico...

Perhaps if you recast it as an objective map with Siege-like setup. Hold Washington D.C. for a turn and you win, or something like that.

huh if russia invaded america in 1980... then why didnt they invade america???

Looks like the Soviet stratagy in the movie Red Dawn. Could be a pretty interesting map, but will need creativity and a lot of work.
