Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.
Yes yes yes yes. I ran a 5k today (15 minutes late actually cuz of my damned roommate. Sprinted the first part to make up for lost time). Kinda tired but I'll appease rebelman.
Kalish (Greed)
Rebelman (Sloth)
NES ( Slothful heretic) have been endgamed
OK the only outcome I saw for the game was a win by kalish. He had the power to steal a vote every night and could therefore control the lynching majority the next day with only 3 players left. Neither NES nor rebelman were unlynchable or bulletproof. NES had 1 extra life and rebelman had 2. Eventually kalish would repeatedly lynch everyday until rebelman and NES died. If kalish stole every night, then it would be impossible for rebelman and NES (they were on the same side) to win. The reason I was reluctant to end was cuz I wasn't sure if kalish would figure it out.
As for the setup: there were 7 sins who each had a follower. The 7 sins each had a power that was active every night. Their followers (the heretics) each had the same power but weakened in some form.
I also put in a priest role and 3 regular townies. The priest was the main role in this game (Thanks guys for killing him off so quickly
) Every night the priest could choose to recruit one person (basically a cult leader). Townies could be recruited at any time. Heretics could be recruited only after their sin had died. If the priest had tried to recruit a sin, the sin would be alerted to his presence. Here's what made the priest role fun: If the priest successfully recruited all 3 original townies, the three townies would become holy JOATS. Their powers would be protection, investigation, and roleblocking. And the priest would lose his recruiting power but gain a resurrection power. And on top of that they could still talk at night like a regular cult. If the priest died before then though, the townies would fall into sin and become sinful JOATS who worked individually. Their powers were nightkill, investigation, and roleblocking.
A few people told me that rebelman's role was a bt overpowered. But there were a massive amount of roleblockers and killers in the game, so if at any point he was roleblocked and NKd in the same night he would have died (which is how my bulletproof townie died).
I'll post the role list in a few minutes.

great game and as everyone now knows i total exaggerated my immortality and pretended i wasn't a sin too 
anyone in a mood for a laugh read back over this game at my various efforts to keep nes alive on a daily basis. im amazed noone figured out nes and i were a team. Well done kal - as for the endgame result it would have been different if at any stage kal failed to submit his night action if that happened me and nes would win.

Anyway I laughed my arse off reading how lost you guys were, especially Crab for his "we're all friends fellow sins!" plan
I think games with so many factions are interesting but the powers were not very equilibrated between the sins. Well done Kalish for pulling it anyway, my money was on Rebel. Anyhow I think the sin and their follower should have at least had a common no-need-to-survive WC to make it a bit less tough; but well crazy & difficult has its charms too =)

And that's exactly what I would have done kwan, kept cycling votes until I tried to lynch rebel and NES for days on end, I didn't 100% buy rebel's claim of being bulletproof (my guess was he had a few extra lives since dustn tried to eat NES and kwan said 'he got weaker' or something like that, figured it applied to everyone and there was no truly 'unlynchable' roles in this, luckily I was right) but I did buy rebel's town claim completely.
I've thought that rebel and NES had a bond since I suggested lynching NES like 4 game days ago and rebel kept having many excuses for not doing it even though he was horribly submarining but I didn't have any way to call him on it and, to be honest, it didn't matter after the dustn lynch as I had a majority of the votes every day.
Well played by everyone involved, especially rebelman as you are a new player and played well above your 'new' status, you handled yourself quite well. The only thing I'd say to you is don't buy into the 'I'm done with public games cuz you guys are stupid' argument/defense, it's my bullshit version of a defense that people usually buy when I get 'flustered' lol. If you guys would have lynched me then (your only chance at changing the game's outcome) you would have won it.
Well played everyone, NES if you wouldn't have subbed it out so much you and rebel probably could have taken this days ago, or at least when dustn was alive.
And one more thing, rebelman deserves to be the honorary winner as he kept NES alive for an ENTIRE game. You know how freakin hard that is? lol.
